Do you have an acne problem but little time to apply a whole line of products to your face two or three times a day? Most people these days want relief from acne but simply can not remember or do not have time to apply all the different products every morning and night. This is a fast paced world, and applying toners, masks, scrubs, moisturizers, and night creams just adds to the list of things that need to be done.
The good news is there are other options that can fit naturally into your busy life. There are lifestyle changes that can become the best acne cures for your skin if you simply give them a chance. After all, applying all of those products is not necessarily simple or quick and they also must be built into your daily life if they are to work.
There are ways to change things you already do everyday, so that you fight acne while going about your daily life with little to no extra effort. If you want to know more about these little changes that can bring big acne results, read on.
Eat
This is something you do every day, right? But there are certain types of foods that have proven to cause acne, or make it worse if you have it for other reasons. Acne can even be an allergic reaction to dairy products.
Dairy can make your acne worse because it comes from cows that are pumped full of hormones, and many human acne cases are caused by hormones. You are taking in hormones that are not natural to your body and that interferes with other hormonal levels in your system. You can test if this is part of your problem by cutting out dairy for a short period of time to see if your acne clears up some. There are products on the market now that are organic or labeled that they do not contain hormones. These are best options for your body.
Similarly, if you are eating a lot of high fat, oily foods or high sugar, over processed foods, you are likely adding to the oil your glands secrete into the skin. Making the healthiest food choices possible at every meal can make the difference between a clear face and one riddled with blemishes.
Water
You probably know that your body is mostly made up of water, and that you lose a lot of water throughout the course of your lifetime. What most people do not realize is that you do not replenish enough of this water just through the foods you eat, especially if you are not eating many fresh fruits and vegetables.
If your body is dehydrated you will not only feel tired and hungry more often, but you will also have less moisture in the skin and can face problems with dry skin, acne, or both. You need to replenish as much of the water lost as possible, but it is rather simple to substitute water for some of the other drinks you normally go for.
Wash Up
You probably take a shower or bath each day, so keeping your face clean is extremely simple. You do not need those expensive cleansers from the store, and in fact they can dry your skin out and do more harm than good. All you need is any mild soap and running water once or twice a day to keep the surface of your skin clear of dirt and dead cells which could clog your pores.
There is no need to fit five or more minutes into your schedule like you have to do with that big line of chemical based products. Just put your soap in with your shampoo and you will have an instant reminder to take one minute and get that face washed. It is best to wash with your hands under the running water because rubbing with a cloth could aggravate your skin, especially when you have an acne outbreak.
Ultimately, the best acne cures are the ones you can fit into your everyday life and will keep up with long term. Notice that they also tend to be things that keep your entire body healthy and feeling good, from your heart and kidneys out to your pores.
